Pulalius vulgaris |
|
Ref : |
Dble Pulalius |
|
Age : |
Eocene |
|
Origin : |
Washington state USA |
|
Description : |
Exceptional block including 2 fossil crabs Pulalius vulgaris. The shell of largest size 3,8cm (between the side spines) and that of small measures 2,2cm. The block measure 9,5cm length, 8cm broad and 5,5cm height. This is not an assembly, nor a setting, the 2 crabs are of origin on the same nodule. They are prepared in 3D, by my care, and have a very good conservation. Nevertheless, I carried out some small restorations on the level of the claws, the legs and the shells (the small crab was broken in several pieces at the time of the opening of the nodule). This kind of piece is very very rare, therefore not to miss!!! |

Description : |
Superb fossil crab!!! Indeed, this one in addition to being rare, almost whole, and is released in 3D. I will not explain you the work and the number of hours that I needed to prepare it: it is an enormous work! The shell size approximately 6,5cm between the side spines. Well on, of the restoration was necessary: approximately 20%, distributed on the spines, the legs and the claws. But that remains Imaizumila araucana of any beauty!!! |

Beautiful fossil crab Pulalius vulgaris , it was released in 3D, and that represents much work!!. The carapace size 3cm (1,2 inches) between the side spines. The conservation is very good. A light restoration was carried out on the top of the left dactylus, and the left elbow is not complete. Exceptional and rare part of this quality. |
